China CITIC Bank International (CNCBI) partnered with DigiSalad to launch a dedicated campaign site for its In Motion mobile app, ThankFare, designed to drive app downloads and new account openings. By reimagining traditional banking onboarding through an interactive Limited-Time Rewards Experience, the campaign reframes a promotion-led journey into an engaging and time-sensitive experience, allowing users to unlock exclusive offers and prizes while naturally discovering CNCBI’s services.
The campaign site serves as a powerful dual-growth engine, enabling CNCBI to re-engage existing customers while consistently attracting new prospects. By capturing participant details at the peak of campaign excitement, CNCBI gains valuable first-party data that supports personalized communications, targeted offers, and long-term relationship building beyond the campaign period.
Scalable Campaign Platform with Premium Rewards
The ThankFare campaign site is engineered to support high-traffic reward events featuring premium incentives such as Gin Lee concert tickets, flights to Tokyo, and exclusive financial coupons. To amplify excitement and ensure fairness, the experience incorporates real-time countdown timers that signal the exact moment each event goes live, paired with a high-performance first-come, first-served reward allocation mechanism capable of handling traffic spikes seamlessly. Once a prize is secured, users are guided through a smooth and intuitive redemption journey, from downloading the CNCBI app and completing a quick registration to automatically receiving a unique QR code via email. This efficient process delivers a rewarding experience that encourages deeper engagement with CNCBI’s digital banking services.
Bank-Grade Security & Customer Privacy Protection
As a leading financial institution, CNCBI places the highest importance on data security and customer privacy. DigiSalad developed the ThankFare campaign site with a security-first architecture, conducting comprehensive security testing, vulnerability scanning, and system validation to ensure all personal data is protected throughout the user journey. These measures safeguard customer information against unauthorized access, leakage, or disclosure, fully aligning with banking-grade security and regulatory compliance standards.
Customizable Activity Widget & Intelligent CMS
To give CNCBI’s marketing team full control and agility, DigiSalad developed a customizable campaign widget supported by an intelligent CMS. This allows administrators to update offers, visuals, and copy in real time without technical support, while automated scheduling enables seasonal promotions to be prepared and launched in advance. The CMS also integrates directly with CNCBI’s database to synchronize gift IDs and reward codes automatically, eliminating manual handling and significantly reducing the risk of duplication or operational errors.
To maintain the highest standards of operational integrity, we implemented a Peer Approval (Four-Eyes) Permission Set within the CMS. For example, if "User A" imports a batch of gift codes, they are restricted from approving or rejecting that specific batch. Only a different authorized user can finalize the action. This internal control prevents errors and unauthorized distributions, ensuring a secure workflow that matches the bank's stringent compliance requirements.
